Sadara Chemical Company is a joint venture developed by Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemicals. It is an unprecedented undertaking, the largest chemical complex ever built in the world in a  single phase. With 26 integrated world-scale manufacturing plants and over 3 million tons of capacity per year, Sadara is a ‘game changer’ in the petrochemicals industry. It is this aspect that needed to be highlighted within an exhibition booth that was limited in size, yet vast enough to drive home this message.

The Challenge

Spread over a 120 square meter space, the exhibition stand had to be designed, keeping in mind Sadara’s brand image and ‘game changing’ concept. It had to have that industrial look, and still retain its people-friendly attitude. The Sadara story must be well communicated and above all, the message ‘Creating Value through Chemistry’ must be loud and clear. After careful evaluation of the Sadara brand, it was felt that the design was to be kept simplistic, open, and friendly. The resultant stand design was awarded the best stand at the exhibition. Dominated by white spaces, the branding and brand elements was clear, focused and visible. Through product displays and images, the ‘game changing’ concept was well communicated. Supported by a crisp, free flowing structure, the stand marked a sea change in Sadara’s corporate communications initiative.
